Rains Dampen Yellowstone Fires

Significant rainfall Monday night has reportedly diminished two fires in Yellowstone National Park, although both fires are still burning.

Commission Awards Airport, Bridge Project Bids

The Sheridan County Commission awarded a bridge project on Monarch Road to Norwood Construction for $48,500 during today’s meeting, and approved a contract with O’Dell Construction for just over $51,000 to renovate the Sensational Kids Building at the county-owned airport in Sheridan.

Citizens Request Community Showing of 'Longmire'

The Joint Revenue Interim Committee of the Wyoming Legislature met Thursday and Friday in Buffalo. Representative Mike Madden of Buffalo is Co-Chair of the Committee, and says that funding for local governments was a major topic of the two-day meeting.

Local Habitat Management Area Closed Temporarily
