Two site selectors, who are real estate professionals who evaluate potential sites in relation to the needs of clients, are touring Sheridan this week at the invitation of Forward Sheridan.

The Sheridan Artists' Guild has recently raised money to acquire their new space at the former Montgomery Ward building on Main Street in Sheridan. The building is currently under construction and is expected to be completed during mid-January.

The Sheridan Artists Guild Etc., known as SAGE, will host a reception Thursday in the Sagebrush Fine Art Gallery on East Fifth Street.

Cameron Duff, the Director of the Sheridan Fulmer Library, recently was a guest on our news talk show public pulse. One of the topics discussed was upcoming programs, in particular the annual Christmas story readings by local author Craig Johnson.

According to the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services, Research and Planning Senior Economist David Bullard, unemployment rates in Sheridan County rank among the lowest in the state.

The holidays are in full swing, which means that people will be out in abundance buying gifts for friends and family in anticipation of Christmas.

The Sheridan Regional Office of the Wyoming Game and Fish Department will host a public meeting Wednesday at 6 pm in regard to black bear hunting seasons and regulation proposals.
