The NEW Growth Alliance Advanced Carbon Products Conference scheduled for this Friday in Buffalo has been canceled due to the predicted inclement weather.
The conference room at Sheridan’s Holiday Inn was packed full of community members on Wednesday as the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce hosted their final Chamber Luncheon of 2016.
As Sheridan Media previously reported, the President of the University of Wyoming, Laurie Nichols, was in Sheridan last week to hold the final of a series of Listening Sessions that were held around the state over the past couple of weeks.

The Sheridan County Justice Office provides probation services for Municipal, Circuit, and Juvenile Court through the Child in Need of Services/Truancy program. The Justice Office also provides juvenile and adult drug court programs.
The fourth annual Community Christmas Celebration will be Saturday at Ucross. Tracey Kikut, who's a program associate with the Ucross Foundation, said the event will be from 4 till 6 p.m.
Johnson County Road & Bridge Supervisor Scott Pehringer told the county commissioners that the proposed walkway path on the county-owned South Bypass Road is still in the planning process, but the plan was to present the proposal to the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) for their consideration in the near future.
