Bluegrass and Burgers at the Sheridan Senior Center Tuesday Night

Tuesday night, the Sheridan Senior Center will be holding their Bluegrass and Old Timey Jam Performance which is free and open to the public. Jane Perkins, Director of Activities, explains that interested musicians should come down and join them as well.

Crews Respond to Weekend Structure Fire

At approximately 5:47 pm on Saturday, crews from Goose Valley Fire Department, Sheridan Fire-Rescue, Rocky Mountain Ambulance, and the Sheridan County Sheriff's Office responded to 442 Big Goose for a reported structure fire.

Buffalo City Councilman Russ Humphrey passed away last week, after a short fight with a recently-diagnosed bout of cancer.
His funeral was Friday and was attended by many in the community, including members of the city council, police and other city employees, and many friends and acquaintances.

School Board Approves 2017 Meeting Schedule

During their December meeting earlier this week, the Board of Trustees for the Johnson County School District discussed and then approved their meeting schedule for the coming year.
