Petition Circulating to Reduce Number of Commissioners

Sheridan resident Anne Collins is collecting signatures for a petition to reduce the number of Sheridan County Commissioners from the current five, back to three. In 2006, Sheridan County residents voted to increase the number of commissioners from three to five.

Virginia Patton, widow of State Rep. John Patton, died earlier this month. Sheridan Media reporter Pat Blair recently had an opportunity to interview a member of Patton's family who lives here in Sheridan.

Herrera Found Guilty of Killing Elk Out of Season
