Several Sheridan Cub Scouts attended three days of camp at the Poulson-Griffith Youth Camp this past week.

Two crews made up entirely of women applied siding, paint and other touches to a Habitat for Humanity home build on Willow Trail in Sheridan Saturday.

During the latest Sheridan City Council budget work session, City of Sheridan Utilities Manager Dan Roberts painted a budget picture that’s been consistent with all of the other departments within the City.

Crews with the City of Sheridan will begin chip sealing various streets throughout the city beginning Tuesday. City Operations Superintendent Mathers Heuck runs down the schedule of streets that will be affected.

County Road Closure Planned for Wednesday

According to a news release issued by the Sheridan County Public Works Department, the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad has requested a full road closure for County Road #40, Arvada-Gillette Road on Wednesday, from 8 am to 3 pm.
