Powder River Days Gets Wild

Over the weekend, Powder River Days Ranch Rodeo and Ranch Bronc Riding kept it wild at the Fairgrounds. The WSRRA, Western States Ranch Rodeo Association, brought cowboys from all over our part of the nation.

Tuesday night 15 passenger train cars were pulled by a BNSF GE Locomotive loaded with 350 people several miles past Clearmont on a scenic adventure unlike any other. Sheridan Media Reporter Rustin Burr went along for the ride and talked to a number of different passengers.

BNSF Employees Take Excursion to Clearmont and Back

More than 200 employees of Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad, their families and friends boarded a passenger train Tuesday afternoon for an excursion ride from Sheridan to Clearmont and back again.

County Falls Short of Balancing Budget

The City of Buffalo and Rub Of The Green Sports Bar and Grill, LLC have entered into an finalized agreement and each has signed the lease for the proprietor to run the bar and restaurant at the municipal golf course.

Fireworks Are Not Allowed in City Limits

It is about that time again when the sounds and sights of fireworks will illuminate the night sky. Sheridan Fire Rescue Chief Terry Lenhart reminded us that there are some places fireworks are not allowed.
