Sheridan Food Group Receives Donation from the Black Powder Shootout Committee

Trustees of the Northern Wyoming Community College District, which administers Sheridan and Gillette colleges and the Johnson County campus, were updated on topics from college enrollment to the strategic plan to the district's contribution to economic development Friday morning.

The City of Sheridan is inviting the public to a reception Tuesday from 4:30 to 6:30 pm in the atrium of the Whitney building at Sheridan College to meet the two candidates for the position of city administrator.

The Miss Wyoming USA Pageant will take place this weekend at the Casper Events Center. 20-year-old Becky Bridger of Sheridan will be competing in the pageant for the right to represent Wyoming in the Miss USA Pageant in the summer of 2017.

Sheridan Local Food Expo Set For Early October

The Sheridan Local Food Expo will take place October 5 through the 8 and will provide a number of activities that provide the attendees with the hands-on education and experience necessary to support local food production, personal health and economic development.
