A Billings, Montana man who was charged for his role in breaking into a home in Sheridan County last year was sentenced in Fourth Judicial District Court in Sheridan Thursday. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

U.S. Senator John Barrasso of Wyoming spoke before his colleagues on the floor of the Senate this week to discuss how Democrats are delaying the confirmation votes for judges, Cabinet secretaries and other high-ranking officials.

YELLOWSTONE FIRE SEASON

CODY, Wyo. (AP) — About 1 acre of land burned in Yellowstone National Park during the 2017 fire season, a number much lower than the 63,000 acres (25,500 hectares) burned in the park a year ago.
