Microburst in Bighorns Causes Closure of Numerous Roads and Trails

Numerous trails and roads in the Paint Rock Lakes area of the Bighorn National Forest are closed due to a high wind event that recently moved through the area at the end of Forest Service Road 17 near the Paintrock Guard Station.

City Administrator Explains One-Year Budget

The budget for the fiscal year that began on July 1 for the City of Sheridan was recently adopted via a resolution by the City Council. The City, in previous years, had worked on a two-year budget cycle.

Parking Lot Slope to Be Fixed

Work to repair a problem with a hospital parking lot is scheduled to start as soon as possible, possibly within the next three to four weeks.
