Joyce Hartzell Rodell was a woman of deep faith and left for her heavenly
home on October 25, 2014.
Joyce was born in Tyler, Minnesota, December 22, 1928 to Adolph and Ida
Hartzell of Russell, Minnesota. Following graduation from Russell High School as
salutatorian, she did her undergraduate work at Sioux Falls College in Sioux Falls,

“Jackie” Twite of Sheridan, WY was 50, when she passed away after a 3 year battle with cancer. She had remained very positive throughout her illness. She always had a warm smile on her face. Jackie was a loving daughter and sister and worked as a custodian for Sheridan Jr. High for 7 years. She even named her custodian cart “Walle”. Jackie loved to go fishing and spend time with family.

Robert Ekis, 68, of Sheridan, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital.

Visitation will be at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2014, with Services to follow at 10:00, at Kane Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Goodwin Officiating. Interment will be in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery with Military Honors.

The Pilch family and friends have lost a very good man. Joe A. Pilch passed away on October 23, 2014 in Billings, MT. Joe was born September 22, 1939 to Joseph and Anna Pilch. He was raised on the ranch and attended a country school as a young boy and graduated from Sheridan High School in 1958. He earned a Bachelors in Agricultural Science from the University of Wyoming in 1962.

Donald Owen Cooper, 84, of Sheridan, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at his residence.

Tonya Eve Blakeman passed away on October 22, 2014, in Billings, MT.

Jamie Thomas, 34 year old Buffalo woman, passed away Saturday morning in her home. A private family interment will be held at a later date. Doris A. Gerhold, 85, of Buffalo, WY died Tuesday, October 21, 2014, in Johnson County Health Care Center, Buffalo, WY.

Doris was born June 2, 1929, in Johnsville, Maryland to Ross & Sarah Myers.

Bess Juroszek, age 90, passed away on October 20, 2014, at home with her loving family near her. She was the beloved wife of Oscar Juroszek.

William “Willie” Hauf, 88, of Sheridan, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2014, at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital.

Willie was born on July 26, 1926, in Burley, ID to parents William and Mary (Bauer) Hauf. He was a WWII Veteran with a Purple Heart. He was a loving father to his children, Cynthia L. Joy and David A. Hauf and a devoted husband for 47 years to Lola (Holloway) Hauf.
