Governor Mead Opposes Closure of Rural Post Offices

In a news release Tuesday Governor Mead indicated his opposition to the closing of rural post offices in Wyoming. The post office at Leiter Wyoming shown here is among the 43 post offices in the state that the U.S.P.S. has listed for possible closure. Governor Mead noted that these closures would add 40-60 miles miles of driving for rural residents to get their mail, but that the U.S.P.S.

A Shower for the 4A Coach of the Year (updated)

The Wyoming Coaches Association has named Sheridan's Don Julian the Class 4A Coach of the Year. His name and that of Cheyenne East's Chad Goff are on the ballot for Wyoming Coach of the Year - the results of that ballot will be counted on December 6th.

Coach Julian is show on the left getting "a championship shower" after winning the 4A State Football Title on November 12th - on the right, and still wet, he stands beside the Offensive Player of the Year, Jordan Roberts.
