April's last morning bus trip to Woodland Park Elementary School was under wintery weather conditions of snow, blowing snow and reduced visibility. Area residents can expect snow showers changing to rain showers through the rest of Friday followed by more rain and snow showers through the weekend with the sun returning on Monday. Last Snow?

Friday evening on the SHS stage Aaron Odom, the Sheridan High School Drama Club sponsor, introduced the comedic duet play by Tom Dudzick titled "Greetings!" in which Randy, played by Sophomore Abby Bacon and Andy, played by Senior Rusty Burr are flying to Andy's home for Christmas to meet his parents and tell them of his engagement to Rusty. Mid-way en route is this inflight kiss.

On a windy Saturday the No. 2 Broncs took on the No. 1 Plainsmen from Laramie on Scott Field in Sheridan. The Broncs had their heads in the game, game faces on, legs in the game, a size advantage, some close scoring attempts but the cards just didn't fall their way as Laramie managed to score one near the 5-minute mark of the 1st period to secure the win.

Representatives from Sheridan Fire-Rescue, Big Horn Fire, Ranchester Fire and Dayton Fire participated in instructor training in the use of the Fireblast 451 ® Mobile Fire Training trailer on Thursday. Trainers from Fireblast 451 ®, the manufacturer of the unit, certified 11 “Fire Control Officers” to conduct live fire training evolutions.
