"Hot! Hot! Ooh, we got it."

Midway through the Big Horn High School Christmas Concert on Tuesday evening Taylor Cameron, Moniqua Irion, Rebecca Gilbert, Chloe Swan Christian Klepperich and Zach Blaney sang "Hot Chocolate," a song from the Christmas movie The Polar Express, that starts with the words; Hot! Hot! Ooh, we got it. They were hot and in the Christmas spirit.

A "Must See" when out viewing Christmas Lights

Just last Saturday I shot photos of a 2012 Chevrolet Volt (http://www.sheridanmedia.com/pic...) that is powered by electricity. Little did I know then that less than a mile away is this 65-year older 1947 International Pickup that is also electrified.

Leave it to a mechanic, some duct tape, 2000 lights and some spare time - then "Behold."
How low and bright can you go?
What looks like an illuminated star on Jeremy's tree top is and isn't. There is a star on the top which wasn't working but the street light on the corner was - behold the magic of moving and then taking the photo
Alone in the dark
On the door of the '47 International you can see what a mechanic and his duct tape can do
Not much to write home about on the inside except that it is air conditioned
Thought you might like to see how the lights are applied - leave it to a mechanic, his duct tape and 2000 lights
One more look - as for the tree in the bed it is sort-of a real tree -discarded real tree branches stuck into holes of a piece of tubing

The Volt - Not your Grandfather's Chevrolet

You may have heard about the new GM car you can't hear and now Ed Hammer Inc. has two of them that are ready, willing and able to be looked at, test driven and not heard. I'm talking about the 2012 Chevrolet Volt - like this one sitting below the Ed Hammer Inc. sign which if my math is correct has arrived in time to help celebrate a dealership in business for nearly 75 years.

The 2012 Volt is headed your way - better look because you won't hear it
A view of the driver's compartment
Check out that dash and steering wheel controls
A close-up of the dash - perhaps a reading of the owner's manual is in order for those more familiar with analog dashboards
To the right of the dash is this 7 inch screen that when you put the vehicle into reverse gives you an almost high definition view of what's behind you in living color - that plus much more like some of the info currently on the display
Not your typical key ring -'cause there is no key
And how is this for fuel economy? 325-372 miles on 9.3 gallons - one tank exclusively on gasoline or 49 - 51 miles on one electrical charge
If Silver Ice Metallic is not you color how about Crystal Red Tintcoat like this one in the show room?
I took a smart phone photo of QR Code near the center bottom of this window sticker and here is where it takes you: www.fueleconomy.gov/m/m from there you can find out all about the "New Window Sticker" and the new fuel economy label

It's Beginning to look a lot like Christmas @ 1200 S. Thurmond

Or is that a Birthday snowman on the far right? A little elf told me that Agnes Blaney is having a birthday on the 18th so if you're driving by and see Agnes take a deep breath as you say, "Happy Birthday, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Agnes." And then come back and check out the Valentine's Day decorations in February.
