Miss Indian America Pageant Winners Reunite

During the First People's Pow Wow, sixteen Miss Indian America princesses from the Sheridan All American Indian Days celebrations from 1953 through 1984 were honored. As Judy Slack, Manager of the Wyoming Room of the Sheridan Public Library, called out each name the honoree came forward during ceremonies on Grinnell Plaza.

"Fastest Bed in the West"

The Kane Cattle Co. & Bob's Super Clean bed, on the right, gets the jump on the NX Bar Ranch bed as the gun goes off in the final race in the battle for the "Fastest Bed in the West." Several blocks later, in a near photo finish, the Kane Cattle Co. & Bob's Super Clean bed hung on for the win and went home $500 richer as a result.
