The National Guard was present and fired a salute after each Bronc score - this one came as the sun was setting when Nick Gill scored to put the Broncs up 18 to 0 over the Rock Springs Tigers
Just seconds after scoring his TD Nick Gill kicked the extra point to make the score Sheridan 19 - Rock Springs 0 which would end up being the final score as both teams were scoreless in the 2nd half
If caught by Bronc Trae Kaufmann this 3rd down pass play would have been Sheridan's first score - instead they had to settle for a field goal to get them on the scoreboard

The Rams Pour it on Wright in the Rain

Early in the 2nd quarter Big Horn Ram Colter Carzoli took the hand off from QB Connor McCaferty at the six and punched it in for the score as he made a final cut to his left into a hole at the goal line thanks to the block by fellow Ram Mason Lube #58. Colter's TD ran the score to 20 to 7.

Rainy Night in Sheridan

Posted in

It was a rainy night in Sheridan Thursday following, and during for that matter, the Sheridan High School Homecoming Pep Rally that took place on Grinnell Plaza.

Rain made this photo shot from the Main Street & Grinnell Plaza junction looking south full of reflections as SHS pep rally goers headed home for a good night's sleep before the big game on Friday.

Rain couldn't dampen this Homecoming Pep Rally

Rain couldn't dampen the Sheridan High School Homecoming Pep Rally spirit on Grinnell Plaza Thursday evening. After recognizing the athletics of the fall sports teams it was time to burn the "Bronc" and that they did right in the middle of Grinnell Plaza. After that some dancing broke out in front of the stage as the students continued in the spirit of homecoming.

The Sheridan High School Cheerleaders kicked off the Homecoming Pep Rally on Grinnell Plaza Thursday evening. Rain couldn't dampen their cheering but it did reflect their images on the wet pavement in front of them.
After the the Bronc Burning some impromptu dancing by Homecoming Queen Molly Legocki & King Tyler Julian and many others broke out under the falling rain to music in front of the stage.
