GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Sheridan College Generals lost their first game of the season Friday at a tournament in Powell. Eastern Utah beat the Generals 85-75.
They came back Saturday with a win over Western Montana; head coach Steve Smiley comments.

SHS BASKETBALL - The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams have finished up their first week of pre-season practice. The regular season opens Friday, December 4th with the Broncs and Lady Broncs hosting a double-header with Green River. Both games will be broadcast live on AM 1410 KWYO -- game times will be at 5:45 and 7:30.

FOOTBALL AWARDS - The Sheridan Broncs are well represented on this year's awards list. The All-State selections first team Austin Woodward at QB and Punter; Will Hendrickson WR and DB; Micheal Leibrich O-line and D-lin; JC Hespe O-line; TJ Stender WR; Kody Williams Return Specialist; Devan Reilly LB; and Drew Slikker as the All-State Kicker.

LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - Lady Bronc basketball coach Derek Bissitt begins his second year leading the program, with a young, talented team coming back, The attitude is optimistic at the school this week. With just two weeks of pre-season practice, they've hit the court running.

SHS CROSS-COUNTRY - Sheridan Lady Bronc runner Dana Morin won the individual Wyoming Class 4-A Cross-Country State Championship last month. This past weekend, she kept the winning momentum rolling with a 5th place finish at the “Nike” Cross-Country Regional in Boise, Idaho.

STATE HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL - For the first time, the Wyoming High School Activities Association held all five State Football Championship games at one site.

BRONC FOOTBALL - The snow fell and so did Cheyenne Central Saturday night as the Sheridan Broncs won the 4-A State Title 40-15. Head coach Don Julian.

The Broncs lost the season opener August 28th against Kelly Walsh, and then ran off 11 consecutive victories and their first Championship since

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs and Cheyenne Central Indians meet this afternoon in Laramie at War Memorial Stadium for the Class 4-A State Football Championship.

1-A / 2-A State football results

1-A FOOTBALL - The Southeast Cyclones beat Lingle for the class 1-A state championship this afternoon in Laramie.

The Game was played in "Blizzard" conditions with 6 inches of snow falling on War Memorial stadium.
The weather didn't seem to bother the players as Southeast won 27-20.

BRONC FOOTBALL - The top teams in the state meet tomorrow in the 4-A Championship Game. Sheridan beat Cheyenne Central in their regular season meeting; they made a big comeback in the second half. As they get ready to square off again, head coach Don Julian says there's no doubt, Central is a great team.
