October 20th

Wednesday, October 21st

STATE CROSS-COUNTRY - The Broncs and Lady Broncs have three more days of practice before the State Championships run Saturday. Both teams are expected to do very well for the girls. Dana Morin and Lela Carpenter have been strong all season. Head coach Art Baures says they just have to do what's made them two of the best runners in the state.

TR VOLLEYBALL - The Tongue River Lady Eagles beat Moorcroft twice during the regular season last night the Lady Eagles took care of business and are now on their way to the 2-A east regional volleyball tournament.

Monday, October 19th

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc football team won a thriller at Homer Scott Stadium Friday night. They fell behind 20-7, but scored 21 straight points in the second half to beat Cheyenne Central 28-20, and get to 7-1 on the season.

Number 1 Sheridan Broncs face Number 2 Cheyenne Central tonight.The final Sheridan 28, Central 20 .Sheridan has 7 wins and one loss.

The 2nd annual "Pink Bowl" between the Big Horn Rams and Tongue River Eagles was played this afternoon from Homer Scott Stadium at Sheridan High School. The Rams won by a final of 20-0. The Rams up their record to 4-3, while the Eagles fall to 1-6 on the season.

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs take on Cheyenne Central tonight. It's the game of the week in Class 4-A, with #1 Sheridan against #2 Cheyenne, and another of those marquee match-ups for the Broncs. They've been through this several times this season.

Thursday, October 15th

SHS CROSS-COUNTRY - The 2009 season for the Sheridan High School cross-country runners has been a huge success. Now they switch gears as the post-season begins tomorrow with the North 4-A Regional Meet. Racing begins at 2 o'clock tomorrow; the course is on the grounds of the Sheridan VA Hospital. The All-Class State Championships will be held on the same course next Saturday.

SHS CROSS-COUNTRY - 2009 has been a banner season for the Sheridan Bronc and Lady Bronc cross-country runners with several top finishes for both teams. Sheridan High School hosts the 4-A North Regional Meet Friday afternoon on the grounds of the Sheridan VA; racing begins at 2 o'clock.

SHS Volleyball and JV Football Update

The Lady Bronc volleyball team will play Cheyenne East Friday evening the Sophomore and JV matches will be played at 4 o'clock with the Varsity match starting at 5 o'clock.

The Sheridan Bronc JV football team has a game change.
The JV's were scheduled to play at Billings Senior high school Monday afternoon the game has been changed to Tuesday at 4:30.

RAMS FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams made up their postponed game with Moorcroft last night, and for the Rams it was worth the wait as they dominated the Wolves. The Rams jumped out to a 20-0 halftime lead and went on to shut out Moorcroft 38-0. The Rams playoff chances remain alive, but they must win their final two games.

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs broke open their game at Evanston early in the second half and went on to to beat the Red Devils 46-21. That's six straight wins, and now at 7-1 they host a huge game this week with 7-1 Cheyenne Central this Friday.
