Bison girls have senior leadership but lack depth

The Bison girls' basketball team has six seniors out this year, four of which have substantial experience at the varsity level, according to coach Michelle Dahlberg.

Local Hockey Players Win Tournament with Team Wyoming

Three local hockey players named to the U16 Midget Minor A Team Wyoming hockey team(15 and 16 year olds) won the Silver Stick Hockey Tournament this last weekend in Denver CO.

They played six games total – they lost their first game to the Hyland Hills Panthers by a score of 1 to 0; they then beat the Colorado Jr. Eagles by a score of 6 to 0. In the third game they defeated the Littleton Hawks 4 to 2.


GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals found out yesterday that they entered the National Junior college basketball Top 25 poll. They enter the poll for the first time this season at number #25.

They took that ranking into action last night at Western Nebraska CC in Scottsbluff and came away with an impressive 86-84 victory. Freshmen Lamont Prosser led five Generals in double figures with 17 points including six straight points in the games closing minutes.

Bison boys host 3A tournament this weekend

The Bison boy's basketball team will host the 3A East/West Tournament this Friday and Saturday under new head coach John Hepp.
