TROOPERS TAKE TWO FROM STURGIS
AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers have won five of their last six and four in row after taking two from Sturgis, South Dakota last night at Thorne-rider stadium.
In the first game Isaac Carrel hit a grand slam in the bottom of the sixth inning in the come from behind 12-11 win.
The second game went down to the Troops final at bat and a Sturgis throwing error allowed the winning run to score as they took that Game 6-5 Head coach Ben Phillips says they found a way to win both games.
