Wayne Bradford

Sheridan College freshman guard Wayne Bradford has signed a national letter of to play for Weber State University. Bradford averaged 11.2 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.4 assists for the Generals this past season, helping them to a record of 25-7.

Bradford led the nation in free throw percentage this past season, shooting an outstanding 90.7% from the charity stripe. A highly efficient shooter, Bradford also shot 48.8% from the field and 41% from beyond the arc.

Buffalo And Kaycee Teams Preparing For Competition

Buffalo and Kaycee High School teams will be in action this weekend, but the Bison and Lady Bison soccer teams already have games under their belts this week.

Monday the boys hosted Kelly Walsh and played to a 1-1 tie. The boys are now 8-0-2 on the season.

The Lady Bison played at Kelly Walsh Monday, losing the game 3-1. Their record is now 5-5.

Both teams will travel to Rawlins on Friday to take on the Outlaws and Lady Outlaws with games scheduled at 3 for the girls, 5 for the boys.


BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan Bronc basketball program has a new Head coach as Bronc assistant Gale Smith takes over for Mike Ibach who resigned last month.

Smith has been a teacher and coach in District two for the last 17 years and was an assistant coach under Ibach for the last six we sat down yesterday at Sheridan high to visit with the new Head coach.

Since Smith has been in the program for the last six seasons he says it will be a smooth transition for the returning players.
