SC Rodeo coach Marc Gilkerson
The Sheridan College rodeo teams traveled to Chadron Nebraska this past weekend.
The men’s team scored 405 points placing 4th. They were led by sophomore Zeke Thurston, who won the saddle bronc riding again this weekend.
He was 79 points winning the long round and scored 73 points in the short round splitting 1st and 2nd which placed him 1st in the average earning 175 team points.
He also placed 10th in the long round in the tie down roping with a 12.0 time, he tied his short round calf in 9.5 seconds placing 3rd in the short round and 5th in the average earning 60 team points.
