The Tongue River Eagles football team will open their season at home Friday, as they'll host Rocky Mountain at 4 pm in Dayton.

Even though the Eagles couldn't muster a win last year, Head Coach John Scott says that they head into the game with an optimistic approach.

Tongue River has already been bit by the injury bug, as three leaders won't be suiting up for the season opener.
