SC Women's Soccer have successful youth clinic

The Sheridan College Women's Soccer team just finished up a four week clinic with the YMCA.

Coach Stefan said "The clinic was a great start to prepare these kids for there upcoming seasons this spring" he went on to note that "we had over 50 kids participate ranging from 5th through 8th grade."

Each week the players worked on improving and learning various turns and skills along with passing technique.

New SC Volleyball Signee

The Sheridan College volleyball coaching staff was pleased to announce that 3 time state champion Courtney Smith from Ballantine, MT. Courtney has officially signed her National Letter of Intent to join the Generals next fall.

Courtney is a 5’9” middle hitter who can be used anywhere across the net. "I am very excited to add Courtney to our roster next year.

She is very athletic with a heavy swing. She has a good vertical leap and can be utilized in multiple positions for us next year.” Said head coach Jennifer Stadler

Generals fall at region nine / Cowgirls lose at home / Wyoming March Madness begins tomorrow

SC HOOPS - The Sheridan college Generals lost 90-79 against Northeastern Colorado Tuesday night eliminating them from the region nine tournament.

NJC will play Gillette college for the title tonight.

UW HOOPS - The Wyoming Cowgirls lost at home against Utah state Tuesday night. They end their regular season Saturday at Colorado state.

Tonight the Pokes play at Utah state live at 7:30 on KWYO and 87.7 FM.

2-A STATE HOOPS - The Tongue River Lady Eagles and the Big Horn Rams will represent Sheridan county at the state 2-A basketball tournament starting tomorrow in Casper.
