Youth Volleyball Champs

The Sheridan Volleyball Club Yellow team competed in the Gillette Invitational on Saturday, April 5th. They won the 14A Gold Bracket Championship.

It's Open season at Kendrick Golf Course

KENDRICK GOLF COURSE - It was officially open season at Kendrick golf course Tuesday and several people were enjoying a great first day and we caught up with Kendrick Head professional Brian James on the back nine.

And James says it was a great opening day. And he says know is the time to start thinking golf.

SHS GOLF - The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers tee it up Friday at a tournament in Buffalo.

Sheridan Volleyball Club White Team competed in the Gillette Invitational on Saturday April 5th winning the championship in the U14A Silver Bracket.

Local sports schedule -- Lots of action this week

SOCCER - The Sheridan high school soccer teams have more conference action with the Cheyenne schools this week.

On a windy Monday at practice Lady Bronc Head coach Mallery Marshall said the Lady Bronc win at Gillette last Friday was big especially coming off a conference loss against Laramie.

And Marshall says the matches with the Cheyenne schools will be a good test for the Lady Broncs at home this week. And they are working this week on being more aggressive with the ball.

Weekend local sports wrap up

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams played in Gillette Friday the Lady Broncs won 4-0 while the 5th ranked Broncs and 2nd ranked camels played to a scoreless overtime tie. Both teams were off Saturday.

This week Cheyenne East and Central are on the schedule with the Lady Broncs playing at home.

Results From Weekend Games For Buffalo High School

Buffalo High School athletes had a great weekend overall, posting victories and not having to deal with weather-related issues.

The Bison soccer team (ranked #2) beat Douglas 8-0 Thursday night and then beat Cody 4-0 on Saturday. They are now 3-0 so far this season.

April 5th

SHS Soccer in Gilette / Final Four live tonight on 87.7 FM

BRONC / LADY BRONCS SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams played a double header in Gillette Friday night the Lady Broncs beat Gillette 4-0 while the Broncs and Camels played to a scoreless overtime tie.

Both teams will be back in action next week with more conference games with Cheyenne East and Central the Broncs play on the road road.

TRACK AND FIELD - The Bronc and Lady Bronc track teams both finished 2nd at an invitational in Worland Thursday for their only action of the week they next competition will be in Casper next Friday at Kelly Walsh high school.

April 4th

Sheridan College Volleyball spring Jamboree Sunday

The Lady Generals Volleyball team will host a spring Jamboree in the Hoffman dome Sunday.

Matches begin at 9:00 am with Sheridan playing Casper college. Matches will run all day till 5:00.

SHS Track 2nd in Worland / Soccer in Gillette today

BRONC / LADY BRONC TRACK AND FIELD - The Bronc and lady bronc track teams both finished 2nd at an invitational in Worland yesterday here's Head coach Art Bauers. Complete results can be found on the sports page at

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams play a double header today in Gillette matches are set for 3:00 and 5:00 pm.

Both coaches know they will face very good opponents today first Lady Broncs Head coach Mallery Marshall.
