Sheridan Broncs vs. Cheyenne East Broadcast

The Broncs and Lady Broncs took on Cheyenne East on Saturday. The Lady Broncs emerged victorious over the Thunderbirds, but the Broncs fell to them despite their efforts throughout the game.

Another big week of local sports action is underway

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams play at Cheyenne Central tonight and at Cheyenne East tonight game times are at 5:30 and 7:00 tonight and tomorrow at 11:30 and 1:00 all four games can be heard live on 14-10 KWYO.

The Broncs are 2-0 in conference play after winning two at home last week and now Head coach Gale Smith says they need to go out on the road and try to get the same result.

The Cheyenne schools play a completely different style last week Central beat East.

Bronc swimmers dual Gillette / Cowgirls Blowout Utah state / Bronc / Lady Broncs hoops live tomorrow night in Cheyenne

BRONC SWIMMING - The Bronc swimmers host a dual with Gillette tonight, they have a road double dual at Casper Kelly Walsh against the Trojans and Natrona county tomorrow.

In tonight's dual with Gillette the Camels have the numbers advantage over the Broncs which makes it tough to win this dual, Head coach Brent Moore.

Moore says even though they don't have a great shot at winning the dual it's still a great opportunity for the broncs to swim fast.

Full week of local sports action / Pokes lose at Utah state / Cowgirls host Aggies tonight

INDOOR TRACK - The Bronc and Lady Bronc indoor track teams will compete at a meet Saturday in Chadron, Nebraska we heard yesterday from Head coach Art Bauers about some of the early season success the athletes have had including Lady Bronc Sophomore Peyton Bomar.

In the last two weeks Bomar has set two school indoor records in the triple jump and long jump and Bauers says they are two very good marks.

Wyoming Falls at Utah State, 56-44

LOGAN, Utah (Jan. 27, 2015) – The University of Wyoming men’s basketball team dropped a 56-44 game at Utah State on Wednesday night in Smith Spectrum.

The Cowboys (17-4, 6-2 MW) trailed by three at halftime and double digits early in the second half as the Aggies (12-8, 5-3 MW) led by as many as 14 to snap UW’s four-game road winning streak.

Sheridan College Volleyball camp

With volleyball season right around the corner what better way to brush up on your skills and have the ability to get better than to attend our first spring volleyball camp.

This camp is designed to help teach and develop the individual skills and team concepts of the game of volleyball. The camper will have the ability to focus on position specific drills as well as bettering their overall performance.

It will also give campers the opportunity to work closely with Sheridan College volleyball staff members and players.

NDNU transfer commits to SC Volleyball

Sheridan College volleyball is pleased to announce the addition of Patricia Batoon a 5-11 Middle Hitter from Maui, HI to the 2015 roster. Batoon is the second player to ink an LOI for the 2015 class as she will join the SC program that will look to build off this year’s 20-13 record.

Sheridan College’s Hanson pledges to Yellowjackets

Sheridan College sophomore basketball player Tiana Hanson has verbally committed to play for Montana State University-Billings next season.

Hanson, a native of Shepherd, Montana, about 20 miles from Billings, will have two years of eligibility with the MSU-B Yellowjackets, a NCAA Division II school competing in the 11-team Great Northwest Athletic Conference.
