Local skater selected to all-star team

SHERIDAN, WY — Molly Mann, Junior at Sheridan High School was recently selected for the U19 Northern Plains District Hockey Team to compete at the America's Showcase Tournament in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in April. 

Mann competed against players from Wyoming, North Dakota, and South Dakota at the tryout in Rapid City to try and earn a spot on the roster.  The America's Showcase Tournament is a college showcase tournament with many Division I and 3 coaches/scouts in attendance.

BRONC / LADY BRONC GOLF - Sheridan high school golfers will open their spring season with their first practice Monday and it was a perfect evening for the first day of play.

Head coach Larry Martoglio talks about getting the golf season opened and breaking tradition by having the first practice outdoors

The Broncs return some good young talent this spring and they should do well in the conference race.

Michigan state and Big Horn's Colby Wollenman will play Duke in one national semi final Saturday in Indianapolis.

SHS Soccer and Track and Field have great openers / Spring golf, tennis and baseball start today/ Rockies open 2015 in one week

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Sheridan high school soccer teams opened the season Friday and Saturday.

The Lady Broncs whipped Riverton 5-0 Friday and swept all three matches at the Casper jamboree Saturday.

The Broncs dropped a 1-0 decision against Riverton and Saturday in Casper the won one and tied two.

This week they jump right into conference play. They host Gillette Thursday night in a varsity double header the Broncs play at 4:00 and the Lady Broncs at 6:00.

Bronc soccer home tonight / Track and field in Buffalo today / Time to tee it up at Kendrick golf course

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Sheridan high school soccer teams open the season this evening with games against Riverton the Broncs play at Homer Scott stadium the Lady Broncs play in Riverton JV's at 4:00 varsity at 6:00.

Tomorrow both JV teams will play at a jamboree in Gillette, the Bronc and Lady Bronc varsity teams will be at a jamboree in Casper.

They will play three games against Casper Kelly Walsh, Rock Springs and Green River.

Conference play begins next week on Thursday when they host a varsity double header with Gillette at 4:00 and 6:00.
