July 30th

Troopers eliminated from the state tournament / Summer SLam volleyball next weekend / Bronc football opens fall camp August 10th

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers were eliminated from the state "AA" American Legion baseball tournament Thursday in a 7-2 loss against Cody.

Cody led most of the way the troopers were are to draw the score to 4-2 in the 7th inning but Cody pushed three runs across in the 8th to finish off the Troops, after the game Head coach Ben Phillips said the Troopers made a great run this week.

July 29th

Troopers beat Rock Springs face Laramie at 10:00 in state tournament / Post 6 and Gillette to play in the winners semi final tonight at 7:00

STATE "AA" AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers beat Rock Springs 6-2 to advance into today's action at the state double "AA" American Legion tournament and will play at 10:00 against Laramie we will have the game live on 14-10 KWYO.

The Troops built a 6-0 lead behind the pitching of Quinton Brooks, the lefty kept the Rock Springs batters off balance and got some very good defensive plays behind him, Head coach Ben Phillips.

July 28th

Troopers fall in state tournament opener / Cheyenne. Laramie, Gillette and Casper advance

AMERICAN LEGION STATE BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers dropped their opener in the American legion double "AA" state tournament last night at Thorne-Rider stadium losing to Casper 10-7.

The Troopers took a 7-4 lead after five innings but Casper came right back and put up six runs in the 6th inning to take the lead back and hold the Troops off late, here's Head coach Ben Phillips.

State "AA" baseball starts today / Troopers face Casper at 7:00 pm

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers host the American Legion Double "AA" state tournament play begins today at Thorne-Rider stadium with four games Jackson plays Laramie at 10 o'clock, Cheyenne plays Rock Springs at 1:00, Gillette plays Cody at 4:00 and the Troopers play Casper at 7:00. We will have the Trooper game live for you on 14-10 KWYO.

Troopers Head coach Ben Phillips says first it is great for the team to get to host the tournament.

July 27th

Tulo to the Jays in Rockies trade news services

The Toronto Blue Jays have acquired shortstop Troy Tulowitzki in a trade with the Colorado Rockies for shortstop Jose Reyes and three pitching prospects, according to multiple reports.

In addition to Tulowitzki, the Rockies sent 42-year-old reliever LaTroy Hawkins to the Blue Jays.Along with Reyes, the Rockies picked up reliever Miguel Castro and two minor league pitchers.

Fox Sports first reported the teams had agreed to a trade involving Tulowitzki, Reyes and minor leaguers.

Jets win state baseball / Troopers host AA state , starts tomorrow

SHERIDAN JETS - The Sheridan Jets beat Cody 8-5 to win the 'B" American Legion state baseball tournament for the second time in three years, Connor Jorgenson was named the tournament MVP, here's Head coach Ryan Murner.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers host the American Legion double "AA" state tournament starts Tuesday at Thorne-Rider stadium

JETS BASEBALL - The Sheridan Jets picked are playing at at the state "B" American legion tournament in Casper today

VOLLEYBALL - The annual Weston Johnson memorial summer slam volleyball tournament will be played outdoors at the YMCA August8th the they have divisions for all age groups, organizer DJ Dearcorn.

All funds raised go to the Weston Johnson foundation which helps local people and families battling cancer.

July 22nd

Troops fall to Gillette, head to Laramie tomorrow / Jets win their state tournament opener / Rockies fall to the Rangers

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers lost their home game with Gillette in seven innings via the10 run rule, Gillette jumped on the Troopers scoring four in the first inning and building on that lead through the 7th inning and going onto win the game 14-1 here's, Troops Head coach Ben Phillips.

The Troops head to Laramie to close out the regular season tomorrow and will face another very good team.

July 21st

Sheridan City Golf Championship this weekend

Sheridan City Golf Championships are set for July 25th and 26th, 2015 8-10 am starting times each day

The Entry fee is $50 and includes tournament, flight payout, trophies

Cart $15 ~ per day

Deuce Pot $5 ~ per day cash payout

Skins $5 ~ each per day

Both days of tournament play at Kendrick Golf Course
Call Friday after 5:00 pm for Saturday starting time
