September 20th

State Tennis Starts Today / Broncs v Trojans Friday / Cowboys Host Hawaii Saturday / Broncos at Bills Sunday

STATE TENNIS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams will play at the state championships in Gillette play opens today.

SWIMMING / DIVING - The Sheridan Lady Bronc swimmers and divers host a pre-invitational meet tomorrow at 4:00 and the Sheridan invitational will start Saturday morning at 9:00

X-COUNTRY - The Bronc and Lady Bronc Cross country teams run at the Glenn Legler invitational in Casper tomorrow.

VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Bronc volleyball team and Big Horn Lady Rams will play at the Casper invitational tournament play begins tomorrow.

September 19th

State Golf Results / Cowboys Look to Rebound / Sheridan College Rodeo Opens Friday

STATE GOLF - The Sheridan high school golfers finished up the state tournament in Evanston Tuesday the Broncs finished 3rd winning a playoff Kirby Coe-Kirkham was the Broncs top finisher in 2nd place one shot of the lead, Abby James was the Lady Broncs top finisher in 13th place.

September 18th

Cowboys Circle the Wagons / Broncs Host KW / State Golf Concludes Today

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys will try and regroup this week in the aftermath of a brutal home loss to Oregon.

Head coach Craig Bohl was most upset with the Cowboys receiving numerous unsportsmanlike conduct and personal foul penalties.

The Cowboy offense didn't do much all night against the Ducks and Bohl says there could be some changes coming this week.

Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs beat Thunder Basin 45-20 to run their record to 4-0, it was a brutal night for weather with rain, cold and wind and after a sluggish start they got rolling taking a 24-0 lead at halftime, after the game Head coach Don Julian.

Despite the rough start Julian says it was a tough night on the players and they are pleased to be 4-0.

SHS Swimming and Cross Country Success Thursday / Bronc Football Travels to Gillette / Rams / Eagles Play Home Games / Pokes v Ducks Saturday Night

LADY BRONC SWIMMING / DIVING - The Sheridan Lady Bronc swimmers and divers swept duals in Casper the beat Kelly Walsh 103-81 and Natrona county 123-40 they have the weekend off.

BRONC / LADY BRONC X-COUNTRY - The Sheridan high school cross country teams ran at Custer, South Dakota yesterday the Broncs took the team title and had five runners in the top ten, Brian Gonda took the boys top spot followed by David Standish in 3rd place, Alex Garber was 4th, Garett Avery was 5th and Tymer Goss was 7th.

Lady Bronc Swimmers and Divers at KW Today / SHS X-Country run in South Dakota / Regional Tennis Canceled

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs play at Thunder Basin high school tomorrow night we will have it live for you on KWYO and 106.9 FM the First Federal bank and trust pregame show will start at 6:30 with kickoff at 7:00.

The Broncs are coming off that epic overtime battle with Natrona county and Head coach Don Julian says the team talked about what they went through early this week.

Lady Bronc Swimmers / Divers Continue to Impress / Rockies win Again / Bronc Football at Thunder Friday

SWIMMING / DIVING - The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers set four new school records Tuesday night when they hosted a meet with both Gillette schools and Buffalo.

The Lady Broncs have been very good in 2017 and Head coach Brent Moore says they've been on a roll and the girls are competing and getting better.

Bronc / Lady Bronc X-Country Start the Season Strong / Broncos Beat LA / Rockies win at D-Backs

BRONC / LADY BRONC CROSS COUNTRY - The Sheridan high school cross country teams run at there next meet Thursday over in Custer, South Dakota.

The Broncs have had very good results the last three weeks Head coach Art Bauers.

The Broncs have really put their race strategy to good use in these early races using the pack mentality.

September 11th

Bronc Football Comes out With a 37-34 OT win Over NC / Cowboys Shut out GW / Broncos v Chargers Tonight

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs beat the Natrona county Mustangs in an epic #1 / #2 battle at Sheridan high school Friday night the lead went back and forth all night with the Broncs breaking out to a 31-17 4th quarter lead but the Mustangs hung in and scored twice in the final minute to force overtime.

The Bronc defense came up with a big stand and forced NC to kick a short field goal and on the Broncs first play in OT Parker Christensen caught a short pass from Aaron Woodward and dove into the End Zone for the winning score and the Broncs pulled out the 37-34 win.
