SRD-Winter Tennis Program for Beginners

Here is a great opportunity to enjoy learning the game of tennis during the Winter months. Racquets and balls are provided.

Session 1 – Saturdays, February 4, 11, 18 and 25th, 2017

Session 2 – Saturdays, March 4, 11, 18 and 25th, 2017

Time: 11:00am – 12 noon

Fee: $40.00 ea. session

Ages: 8-13

Location: SCTA Tennis Building, Thorne-Rider

Bronc / Lady Bronc Indoor Track Teams Open 2017 Saturday / SHS Basketball Plays Home Openers This Weekend

BRONC / LADY BRONC INDOOR TRACK - The Sheridan high school indoor track teams begin their season at a meet in Spearfish, South Dakota Saturday.

Taylor Keltting begins his third season as the head coach of the Sheridan high school track program and says they've started off the season with great enthusiasm and great numbers on both teams.

They've started the second week of workouts and now are looking forward to getting all the athletes off to a good start in Spearfish.

Local Weekend Sports Wrap up / Cowboy Hoops v Utah State Wednesday / Cowgirls at Utah State Wednesday

BRONC / LADY BASKETBALL - The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams both went 1-2 at a tournament in Cheyenne the Broncs dropped games with Kelly Walsh and Riverton and beat Evanston the Lady Broncs beat Riverton and lost against KW and Evanston.

Friday the Lady Broncs play their first game at home against Billings Skyview the Broncs will play at Skyview, Saturday afternoon the Broncs host Natrona county the Lady Broncs will play at NC.

SHS BASKETBALL - Riverton beat the Broncs 59-51 the lady Broncs beat Riverton
today at The Cheyenne tournament bot teams are scheduled to play games with Evanston.

Next week the Broncs play at road game at Billings Skyview Friday the Lady Broncs will host the Falcons and Saturday the Broncs host Natrona county and the Lady Broncs will play at NC.

SC BASKETBALL - The Generals and Lady Generals open league play Wednesday on the road at Gillette.

Bronc / Lady Bronc Basketball Drop Games with KW / Generals Post a Victory / Lady Generals Play at The Dome Saturday Afternoon

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams dropped games with Casper Kelly Walsh Thursday KW beat the Lady Broncs 51-37 the Broncs lost 63-58 both teams play games with Green River today.

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals started the new year with a 101-73 win at home Thursday night as they knocked a team of former college players Head coach Matt Hammer says it was good to get the players back on the court after their holiday break.

Cowgirls Continue to roll / Pokes Fall at Fresno / Generals Home Tonight / Bronc Swimmers and Divers Have a big Weekend Ahead

COWBOY BASKETBALL - The Wyoming basketball Cowboys lost at Fresno state Wednesday night 85-70 the Cowboys are now 11-5 overall and 1-2 in MWC play they are off until Wednesday when they play a home game with Utah state.

COWGIRL BASKETBALL - The Cowgirls keep rolling they whipped Fresno state 70-48 last night Head coach Joe Legerski says it was outstanding team performance.

The Cowgirls are 11-3 overall and 3-0 in league play they will play their next game at Utah state Wednesday.

Bronc Wrestlers Take Down Billings West / Cowboys and Cowgirls Basketball Live Tonight

BRONC WRESTLING - The Broncs whipped Billings West 48-21 in a dual Tuesday night at Sheridan high school they got off to a fast start, built momentum and put West away, Head coach Tyson Shatto.

They get into the meat of the schedule this weekend starting with the annual "Shane Shatto" invitational in Douglas it's an important tournament for Shatto the tournament is named after his cousin Shane one of the "Wyoming Eight" the University of Wyoming cross country runners killed by a drunk driver in 2001.

Kubiak Makes if Official Steps Down as Broncos Head Coach / Bronc Wrestlers Host Billings West Tonight / Cowboys and Cowgirls Take on Fresno State Wednesday

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos made it official yesterday they will have a new Head coach heading into the 2017 season as Gary Kubiak stepped aside, the team held a news conference at Dove valley first we here from Kubiak as health concerns were the factor in his decision to step down.

Broncos Vice President and General Manager John Elway talked about not only seeing a coach leave but also a good friend.

January 2nd

Lady Bronc Hoops Salvage Energy Classic Finale / Cowgirls whip UNLV / Broncos Beat Raiders, Kubiak Steps Down as Head Coach

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Lady Broncs won their final game at the Energy classic tournament they beat Westchester high school from Los Angeles, California 65-37 they stand at 3-3 heading into more tournament games this week.

The Broncs dropped a 51-50 decision to Las Vegas Liberty high school the Broncs are 2-4 overall both teams will play three games in Cheyenne at a tournament starting Thursday their opponents will be Casper Kelly Walsh, Green River and Rock Springs.
