Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming football Cowboys over came injuries and came from behind to beat the Air Force academy 35-27, here's Head coach Craig Bohl.

The Pokes have now won three straight and end the regular season at New Mexico Saturday afternoon a victory would get them to 6-6 on the season and they would be in line for a bowl game invitation.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos won at the LA Chargers yesterday 23-22 they are now 4-6 overall and host the Steelers Sunday afternoon.

Cowboys beat Air Force / Broncos at Chargers Sunday

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming football Cowboys defeated the Air Force Academy on a snowy Saturday afternoon at War Memorial Stadium by a score of 35 to 27.

Head coach Craig Bohl says it's a big week for the Pokes as they are still in the hunt to receive a bowl game invitation.

And he says as usual the Falcons will be a worthy opponent tomorrow.

Sheridan Harries Find Success In SD / Cowboy Hoops Pick up 1st Victory / Cowboy Football v AFA Saturday

X-COUNTRY - The Sheridan high school cross country teams competed in a big meet last weekend in Sioux Falls, South Dakota the meet is the NXR Heartland region meet which includes teams from North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Kansas.

Head coach Art Bauers says a big event like this is a great experience for the runners.

SC Lady Generals Hoops Looking for a big Bounce / Cowgirls Drill Colorado College / Pokes at Home Tonight v Grambling

SHERIDAN COLLEGE BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college basketball teams go back out on the road this week to Bismarck, North Dakota for games at United Tribes and Bismarck CC.

The Lady Generals are 2-2 overall coming off a road split in Montana last week as we talked with Head coach Ryan Davis this week his squad this season has a lot upside and it's just going to take a few more games to see just how good this teams can be.

Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

BIG HORN RAMS FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams ran through 11 straight opponents on their way to winning the 1-A state title, they showed their complete domination in taking apart Cokeville 55-3.

The Rams set the stage when Kade Eisele returned the opening kickoff 91 yards for a touchdown, Head coach Kirk Mclaughlin was a happy coach after the victory.

Offensively the Rams were on point all afternoon.

STATE HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS - The Big Horn Rams and Sheridan Broncs play back to back in their state championship games in War Memorial stadium tomorrow the Rams lead off against Cokeville the Broncs take on Natrona county

This is the 10th year the state football title games have been played in Laramie and this will be the Broncs 7th trip to the championship game, this well be Big Horn's 6th overall trip to championship weekend.
