Wyoming 6 Final Football

LIONS CLUB HOOP TOURNAMENT - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals will host the 45th annual Sheridan Lions club tournament today and tomorrow at the Hoffman dome.

Game times are 2:00, 4:00,6:00 and 8:00 today and tomorrow they go at noon, 2:00. 4:00 and 6:00. the Generals and Lady Generals will play the late games both days.

The Lady Generals are 4-4 overall and Head coach Ryan Davis says his young squad is learning under fire.

Hawks Junior Hockey Back on the Road This Weekend / Cowboy Football at AFA / Broncos Host Chargers

HAWKS JUNIOR HOCKEY - The Sheridan Junior Hawks are back on the road this week for games in Bozeman, Montana they are coming off back to back overtime road victories in Great Falls, Head coach Andy Sheib says it was nice to see the players come through in two tight games.

2019 Wyoming All-State Football Selections / Football Pokes at AFA Saturday / 45th Sheridan Lions Club Hoop Tournament Tips off Friday at SC

WYOMING HIGH SCHOOL ALL -STATE - All state football awards were have come out and both the Sheridan Broncs and Big Horn Rams were well represented.

Garrett Coon, Quniton Mangus and Ethan Johnson were named to both the offense and defense first teams. Ryan Sessions and Jacob Boint were also named to the first team offense. Toby Jacobs made the first team defense, Carter McComb was named the all-state first team return specialist and Ethan Johnson was also voted by the coaches as the lineman of the year. Four Bronc players made the all-state 2nd team.

Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

HIGH SCHOOL WINTER SPORTS - The winter high school sports season starts today with basketball and wrestling opening practice the Bronc swimmers and divers start next week and the Indoor track a season will start in January.

We heard from Sheridan high school Activities Director Don Julian Friday talking about the start of the new season, one we didn’t get to was Indoor track the Broncs will be defending a state title in 2020.

November 22nd

Fall Sports Wrap / Super 25 Football Team / Pokes Win!

Cowboys defeat CSU 17 to 7. The Bronze Boot stays in Laramie.

SHS FALL HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS WRAP UP - The fall high school sports season ended last week and today we visit with Sheridan high school Activities Director Don Julian.

Sheridan high school athletics had a great fall with three state titles won in girls tennis, boys cross country and football.

Coming off last Saturday’s road loss at Utah state Head coach Craig Bohl said the Cowboys left a lot of football on the field and came up short.

Ram / Bronc Players Talk About Football State Titles / Pokes Host the Border War Friday Night / Junior Hawks on the Road This Week

RAMS / BRONC FOOTBALL -We finish up our recap of the Big Horn and Sheridan state football championships yesterday were heard from the coaches today we hear from the players.

The Rams blew out Cokeville for their second straight 1-A championship going 11-0 in back to back seasons.

Senior Quarterback Quinn McCafferty has played in three straight title games and said they had a big day holding Cokeville down and the offense was clicking all day long.

November 18th

Rams / Broncs Win State Football Championships / Pokes Fall at Utah State / Broncos Lose at Vikings

RAMS STATE FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams and Sheridan Broncs pulled the double Saturday winning their respective state championship football games in Laramie the Rams won big while the Broncs battled to the final drive of the game to finish off Thunder Basin.

The Rams blew out Cokeville for the second straight year in the title game winning 55-7 making it two in a row and winning 22 straight games.
