Bronc / Lady Bronc Hoop Teams Split Games Thursday Night / Junior Hawks Hockey Home Tonight Against Butte / Powder River Hoop Tourney Tips in Dayton Today

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams opened a tournament in Cheyenne against Riverton Thursday night splitting the games the Broncs won the Lady Broncs dropped a close decision.

The Lady Broncs took a two point lead into the fourth quarter but couldn't hold it and Riverton pulled out a 42-37 victory

The Lady Broncs play Laramie today at 3:30 on KWYO and 106.9 FM they close out the tournament tomorrow with Rock Springs.

Bronc / Lady Bronc Hoops Back on the Court Tonight / SC Hoops Sweep Eastern Wyoming / Pokes fall to #7 SDSU

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan high school basketball teams get back on the court in Cheyenne at a three day tournament they open this evening with the Riverton Wolverines we will have both games live on 14-10 KWYO and 106.9 FM the girls is scheduled to tip at 6:30 with the boys game to follow.

Hawks Continue to Pile up Wins / Generals / Lady Generals Host EWC Tonight / Pokes Host #7 SDSU

HAWKS JUNIOR HOCKEY - The Sheridan Junior Hawks hockey team gets back on the home ice at the M&M center as they host the Butte Cobras Friday and Saturday night game times are 7:30 and 7:00.

Head coach Andy Schieb sat down with us Tuesday first he talked about the new years eve home game with Gillette and how special the night was for the players with so many fans in attendance.

Bronc Wrestlers Back on the Road This Week / SC Hoops Home Wednesday Night / Wyoming Hoops v #7 San Diego State Tomorrow

BRONC WRESTLING - The Sheridan Bronc wrestlers are coming off a 7th place at the Bozeman, Montana invitational this week they head to Douglas for the “Shane Shatto” invitational.

Broncs Head coach Tyson Shatto says the team performed well in Bozeman

Shane Shatto is Tyson’s cousin and was one of eight University of Wyoming cross country runners killed by a drunk driver September 16th of 2001 on US 287 between Laramie and Fort Collins, Douglas high school named their wrestling tournament after Shane and Tyson says it’s an important event for the Broncs to attend.

Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

WRESTLING - The Sheridan Bronc wrestlers finished 7th at the Bozeman, Montana tournament this week they head to another tournament the annual Shane Shatto invite in Douglas.

HAWKS JUNIOR HOCKEY - The Sheridan Junior Hawks Hockey team took two more road victories in Missoula, Montana. The Hawks won 4-2 and 5-1 you’ll get a chance to see the Hawks back on the home ice this week as they host games with the Butte Cobras Friday and Saturday night.

Bronc Wrestlers Compete in Montana / Hawks Junior Hockey on the Road in Missoula / Generals / Lady Generals v Willsiton, North Dakota Saturday

WRESTLING - The Sheridan Bronc wrestlers get back on the mat today as they begin a two day tournament in Bozeman, Montana.

HAWKS JUNIOR HOCKEY - The Sheridan Junior Hawks hockey team started the new year with a victory Gillette they head out on the road this weekend for two in Missoula, Montana. Their next home dates will be next weekend hosting Butte, Montana.

GENERALS / LADY GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college basketball teams will open the new year at home tomorrow night against Williston, North Dakota game times are 4:00 and 6:00.

January 2nd

Cowboys win the Arizona Bowl / Hawks Beat Gillette / Cowgirls Beat Boise State

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming football Cowboys beat the Georgia state Panthers 38-17 in the Arizona bowl after the victory, Head coach Craig Bohl.

Quarterback Levi Williams threw three touchdown passes and Xazavian Valladay ran for 204 yards and a touchdown.

The game was the final game for four year starter Logan Wilson from Casper and Bohl says he set a great example for Wyoming players.
