Body of Hardin Teen Found Near Rest Stop Where She Went Missing

According to https://www.ktvq.com/, Big Horn County Sheriff Lawerence Big Hair confirmed late Monday afternoon that the body of 16-year-old Selena Not Afraid of Hardin was found Monday morning about three quarters of a mile from the rest stop on Interstate 90 where she went missing.

Wyoming governor requests funding for suicide call center

Wyoming Gov. Mark Gordon has recommended providing $400,000 to fund an in-state call center for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. Gordon changed course on the issue after initially rejecting the request.

Runway project totaling $62M planned at Cheyenne airport

A $62 million repair project is in the works for the runways at Cheyenne Regional Airport. The work will happen in phases over several years and could stretch into 2025. The Federal Aviation Administration will contribute $39.5 million for the project and Air National Guard $18 million.

Wyoming lawmakers to consider switch to daylight saving time

Wyoming state lawmakers in the new legislative session will have another opportunity to permanently shift the state to daylight saving time. The Casper Star Tribune reported that a change to Mountain Daylight Time would essentially add an extra hour of daylight between November and March.
