Nine lightning fires were reported on the Northern Cheyenne Reservation near Lame Deer, MT on Sunday and thanks to fire crews hard work and some help from mother nature in the form of rain, progress has been made.
According to a BIA release, there are several fires currently burning in the Lame Deer, MT area. Bureau of Indian Affairs Officials say that these wildfires are the result of a lightning burst Sunday evening on the Northern Cheyenne Reservation.
