27th Leadership Sheridan County Starts Jan. 31

The 27th class of Leadership Sheridan County, a program of the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce, will start with orientation on Jan. 31.

More than 20 people from businesses throughout Sheridan County as well as the city of Sheridan, are enrolled.

In addition to the orientation, the class will travel to Cheyenne in February to learn about state government and will visit businesses and organizations in the county. Monthly modules will cover topics including city government, health and human services, county government, economic development, community history and the arts, natural resources and education and youth services.

The class will graduate in October.

Leadership Sheridan County is overseen by the Chamber's leadership steering committee, which is comprised of graduates from the program. Since the program's inception, 370 people have graduated.
