AgriPark Open House is Wednesday

Sheridan College's new AgriPark will be open free to the public from 10 until 3 Tuesday, with a special ceremony planned at 12:15 and hosted by College President Dr. Paul Young.

The open house will include guided tours of the facility by members of the college's rodeo team, and a demonstration of rodeo events in the new indoor arena starting at 1:30. Refreshments will be served.

The AgriPark is on Sheridan's north end, on a 48-acre site donated by Neltje, a local artist and philanthropist. The park is 45,000 square feet, including indoor and outdoor arenas, office space and stabling for horses. Sheridan Director of College Services Zane Garstad said the facility is primarily for college use, but it will be available for public lease starting in January.
