Auditions Continue for ‘Yankee Tavern’

Auditions for the Civic Theatre Guild’s spring play, “Yankee Tavern,” continue tonight and tomorrow night.

Director Aaron Odom said he’s looking for three men and one woman for the cast. Here’s the synopsis of the play.

So, he said, there are several provocative ideas being tossed around.

Auditions will run from 7-9 at the Carriage House Theater on Delphi, behind the historic Kendrick Mansion. He said actors will be asked to read a monologue of their choosing, otherwise scripts will be provided. Rehearsals will start mid-March, and be held on weekday nights. The play will be performed the last weekend in April and the first two weekends in May.
