U.S. Senator John Barrasso of Wyoming delivered an address on the Senate floor Wednesday regarding the Obama administration's recent announcement of a deal with Canada to cut methane emissions from oil and gas production facilities.

Barrasso said the visit by Canadian officials is a clear indication of President Obama not having his priorities in line.

Barrasso said we should be looking for voluntary, cost-effective ways to help make sure that we can make American energy as clean as we can, as fast as we can. But he said, Washington is fixated on regulations that impose higher costs.
