BDA To Assist County In Replacing Trees At Courthouse

Johnson County Commissioners

Johnson County's Commissioners approved cooperation between the Buffalo Downtown Association and the county's Facilities Manager Kim Glasgow in a project to remove trees at the Historic Courthouse.

BDA Director Sharon Nadeau discussed the issue with the commissioners at a recent meeting.

The commissioners said the plan was for Glasgow to put some kind of project like the one suggested by Nadeau, and they suspected he would appreciate some input and help in moving the project forward.

The trees that are to be removed from the courthouse lawn will not be cut down, but dug up and moved to the Buffalo Senior Center where they will be replanted, according to the discussion during the meeting.
