A Big Christmas Weekend Is Planned In Buffalo

Buffalo will be offering many events to welcome Christmas this Saturday, with the day culminating in the main events, the Chili Feed and Lighted Christmas Parade.

Saturday morning, participating businesses will be having the 3-2-1 Sale, where shoppers can get 30% off items from 6 to 7 o'clock, 20% off from 7 to 8 and 10% off from 8 to 9.

Throughout the day there will be opportunities to find treasured and unique gifts at many events.
The “Surprise You Sale” will be at the Onderdonk Hall at St. Luke's Episcopal Church from 8 to 11.
The Bomber Mountain Civic Center will host the Holiday Expo from 8 to 4.
The Buffalo Children Center will have their Christmas Bazaar at the Johnson County Fairgrounds from 9 to 3.
And Sheridan College in Johnson County will have their annual Gingerbread Workshop. Kids can build their own gingerbread houses. Limit of two per household. RSVP to 684-2001 beforehand. Admission is a donation to the Bread Of Life Food Pantry.

Other fun things to do include the Christmas Tree fundraiser, the Buffalo Artists Studio Tour, pictures with Santa and various Christmas parties and open houses.

The chili feed begins at 4pm in Crazy Woman Square and the Lighted Christmas Parade will start at 6pm on Main Street downtown.
