Big Horn Equestrian Center Undergoing Road Renovations

The Board of Directors for the Big Horn Equestrian Center recently approved major renovations to the road along the south and east sides of the facility due to erosion and drainage issues after over 30 years of heavy use. Board Member Orrin Connell said fundraising for the project began several years ago, but other improvements were needed before
the road work.

Connell said the total estimated cost of the project is over $47,000, $12,000 of which has been reduced due to a donation of fill material by a local homeowner. He added that they continue to raise funds for the remaining $32,000.

Connell said the board is looking for input and suggestions from the community for expanding their event calendar.
