Buffalo Water Situation Still Unresolved

Bill Day, water commissioner for the city, said the issue was a communication problem between the computer and the water treatment plant, which rendered the plant unable to treat water for the city's customers. Day said residents needed to conserve on water as best they could.

He said as of Monday afternoon, the only treated water the city had was in its storage tanks, and he estimated those held possibly a day and a half to two days' worth of treated water, depending on how much water the city used.

He was hopeful that might happen later Monday night, but he wasn't sure. Sheridan Media will continue to monitor the situation.
