Bureau of Land Management Wyoming Accepting RAC Applications

Posted in

The Bureau of Land Management Wyoming (BLM) is accepting applications to fill the openings on the Resource Advisory Committees (RAC). People interested in applying for a spot on one of the 27 open committees can either nominate themselves or be nominated by someone else. To be eligible applicants must be a resident of the state where the RAC has jurisdiction. In addition, the applicants must have letters of recommendation from any represented interests or organizations.

Each RAC has ten to fifteen members. The BLM Wyoming uses these committees to gain important information on issues such as mineral development or recreation opportunities. Those interested in becoming a committee member are reviewed based on their training, education, and knowledge of the RAC’s geographic area.

BLM Wyoming is accepting nominations until February 24th, 2020. For more information on how to apply, visit www.blm.gov/get-involved/resourc....
