Burgess to Present WWII History Program at WYO Theater

Oral historian and Director of Wars’ Voices, Val Burgess, will be giving a free presentation next Wednesday night at 7 at the WYO Theater in downtown Sheridan.

Burgess talks about what the audience can expect from the program entitled “History Speaks, Are We Listening?”

Burgess will also be presenting the program at high schools throughout Sheridan County during the week as well.

Wars’ Voices is a local non-profit established by Burgess as a means to educate people about World War II prisoners of war and their experiences by utilizing primary resources, the veteran’s personal accounts, and the history of the war.
