Busy weekend Planned In Durant...um, Buffalo

It will be a busy weekend in Buffalo, which will adopt the fictional name of Durant, Wyoming during the second annual Longmire Days this Saturday and Sunday.
Numerous events both days will include most of the cast of the A&E Network's show “Longmire,” based on local author Craig Johnson's murder-mystery series of best-selling books.

Sheridan College in Johnson County will be hosting its fifth annual Rope For Knowledge Scholarship Roping this Saturday at the Johnson County Fairgrounds. The day begins at 9am and wraps late that afternoon.

The Model A and Pioneer Car Club of Sheridan and Johnson Counties will have a car show this Saturday, August 17th during Longmire Days.
The club will have their cars in the parking lot at the corner of Fort and Main Streets in Buffalo (Durant this weekend) beginning at 9am.
All members and non members are welcome to join the show, but your car must be at least 25 years old. There will be a “People's Choice” contest and there are no fees involved, just show up and have fun.
