UPDATE: Cafe Fire Remains Under Investigation

No one was injured over the weekend in a fire that broke out at a cafe in downtown Sheridan, and the incident remains under investigation.

Sheridan Fire and Rescue was called to the Silver Spur Cafe on Main Saturday night on a report of smoke coming from the building. That was indeed what firefighters saw upon arrival, according to Incident Commander George Neeson, then they found the fire inside the restaurant. He said the Goose Valley Fire Department was called in for backup and the blaze was brought under control within about 15 minutes.

No one was inside the building at the time of the incident. No further information has been released.
