Camp Story Approved for Expansion

The Presbytery of Wyoming was approved a conditional use permit by the Sheridan County Commissioners allowing for expansion and upgrade of facilities at Camp Story, which lies at the end of Presbyterian Road in Sheridan County.

County Planner Mark Reid said there will be construction of three new staff cabins, and outdoor shelter, garage, and four RV spaces.

Ron Patterson, who addressed the Commission on behalf of the Presbyterian Church, said the main purpose of the upgrades are to provide an enhanced experience for camp users. The Wyoming Presbytery offers summer camps in June and July for K-12 graders and their families at Camp Story.
