Members of the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce enjoyed coffee and sweet treats and exchanged ideas at the Chamber's monthly get-together at the Dayton Mercantile in Dayton Wednesday morning.

Elaine Stevens, who owns the business with her husband, Craig Boheler, also shared a little of the history of the business on the main street through Dayton.

She said the mercantile will be open Saturdays and Sundays through the winter and will have an ice cream bar year 'round. Stevens said she and her husband love the community and love the building. The Chamber holds the monthly coffees from 8 until 9 a.m. in locations around Sheridan County as a way to reach out to the communities outside the city of Sheridan.

Those attending the event also had an opportunity to introduce themselves and talk briefly about their businesses and business needs.
