City Administrator Provides Sales and Use Tax Update

Sales and use tax numbers continue to improve for the City of Sheridan.

City Administrator Mark Collins during a report to the City Council Monday night, said that the numbers continue to be better than they were during the same time period last year.

Collins said that four months into the City’s fiscal year, the sales and use tax numbers are 5.6 percent higher than the previous fiscal year. He also reported that the lodging tax collected for August was up 9.5 percent from last year’s August numbers.
